Ever since I was little I’ve known that I’ve wanted to be in a helping profession. For me, becoming a therapist was an adventure that started my first year at Utah State University. I wasn’t actually taking any social work classes, but I was working at a residential treatment center for adolescents who were struggling with substance abuse, family relationships, and other mental health barriers. This job helped me become passionate about mental health and the therapeutic process
I graduated from Utah State University with my bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2019 and started my master’s degree in social work at Utah State University in 2020. I graduated with my master’s degree in May of 2022. I love working with adolescents, families, and young adults. I enjoy using acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.
I’m originally from the Boise, Idaho area and I am looking forward to my relocation to Fort Collins. In my free time I enjoy skiing, mountain biking, sports of all kinds, reading, going to concerts, and experiencing life with the cool people around me.
